The goal of this PDP was to promote sustainable manufacturing in steel industry through the use of technologies that improve energy efficiency, reduce material/water use and enable increased recycle and reuse and thus reduce the ecological footprint on environment. This professional development program aimed to highlight the importance of making steel industry sustainable and raise awareness on this matter.
