We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) Training Program, organized in collaboration with the World Bank.
Over the course of five informative days, participants gained valuable insights into environmental and social risk management, equipping them with the tools to implement sustainable development practices. Dr. Sheikh Mokhlesur Rahman, the Director of CERM, emphasized the importance of the ESF framework right from the start, setting the tone for a productive and insightful learning experience. Throughout the training, participants explored critical topics, including resource efficiency, pollution prevention, community health and safety, biodiversity conservation, and stakeholder engagement. These sessions were designed to enhance participants' ability to apply ESF standards in real-world projects.
A significant highlight of the program was the field visit to the Bangladesh Hi-Tech Park Authority PRIDE Project, where participants saw firsthand how the ESF is applied in real-world projects. The program concluded with an in-depth focus on Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMP), ensuring participants left with the knowledge to integrate these practices into their future projects.
