The BD Learning Center launched its inaugural session on February 15, 2023, at BUET, marking a strategic milestone in strengthening national capacity on social sustainability.

The event was graced by Robin Mearns, Practice Manager for Social Sustainability and Inclusion (SSI), Global Practice. In his remarks, Mr. Mearns underscored the critical need for evidence-driven, people-centered development and emphasized the Center’s role as a platform for advancing inclusive practices across Bangladesh’s infrastructure and social sectors. The session set a clear direction for collaboration, knowledge exchange, and future training initiatives aimed at elevating social performance standards nationwide.
