Successfully completed the three-day training program on “Resettlement Action Plan (RAP) Preparation and Implementation in Line with National Laws and ESF Requirements.”

The program focused on strengthening participants’ practical understanding of land acquisition, resettlement planning, stakeholder engagement, livelihood restoration, grievance redress mechanisms, gender considerations, and monitoring processes in line with national requirements and the Environmental and Social Framework (ESF).
An important feature of the training was the interactive group work sessions, where participants worked on realistic project scenarios related to highway expansion and river embankment development. Through these exercises, participants analyzed issues related to displacement, compensation, entitlement, relocation, consultation, and livelihood impacts, while proposing practical mitigation and implementation approaches.
The sessions were highly participatory, with active discussions, quizzes, and collaborative presentations throughout the program. The engagement and enthusiasm demonstrated by the participants reflected a strong commitment toward improving environmental and social risk management practices in development projects. The program concluded with a certificate distribution ceremony, where participants were awarded certificates in recognition of their successful completion of the training.
