Dr. Sheikh Mokhlesur Rahman is a Professor of Environmental Engineering in the Department of Civil Engineering at Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET). He obtained his PhD in Civil Engineering in 2018 from Northeastern University, Boston, USA. His doctoral research focused on toxicity characterization and prediction using toxicogenomic data, employing advanced data mining and machine learning techniques under the supervision of Professor April Gu.
Dr. Sheikh Mokhlesur Rahman completed both his B.Sc. and M.Sc. degrees from BUET in 2007 and 2010, respectively. His research interests encompass data science and machine learning applications in environmental data analysis, life cycle assessment, environmental pollution management, sustainable development, and broader environmental management practices.
