Shammin Sultana is a Senior Social Development and Gender Specialist with extensive expertise in women’s economic empowerment and labour governance. She is highly experienced in addressing gender-based risks, including Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Sexual Exploitation and Abuse/Sexual Harassment (SEA/SH), and in developing effective mitigation strategies within development projects.
She is trained in the Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) and serves as a Gender Tag Assessor. Additionally, she holds certification from the International Finance Corporation (IFC), reflecting her advanced competencies in integrating gender-responsive approaches into project design and implementation.
