This training focused on the application of geospatial technologies in environmental and social impact assessments. Participants were introduced to the fundamentals of GIS, including hands-on demonstrations. The course covered the use of photogrammetry and LiDAR for environmental management, application of Google Earth for identifying Valued Environmental Components (VECs), and techniques in air and noise modeling. Additionally, participants explored how artificial intelligence can support ESIA reporting. The training was reinforced through relevant case studies.
