On 7 March 2026, the Centre for Environmental and Resource Management (CERM) successfully organized a one-day workshop titled “Overview of Environmental and Social Framework (ESF)” at ITN Seminar Room, Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology.

CERM signed an MoU with the Department of Environment (DoE) on 03 February 2026 to collaborate on environmental and social management, focusing on capacity building, research, and training in climate change, pollution control, and ecosystem conservation.

We are pleased to announce the successful conclusion of our Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) Training Program, organized in collaboration with the World Bank.

CERM welcomed Christophe Crépin, Practice Manager in the South Asia Region Vice Presidency for the Environment, Natural Resources and Blue Economy (ENB) Global Practice of the World Bank, during its 5-day Basic Environmental and Social Framework training.

From December 06-08, 2025, successfully hosted a three-day Professional Training on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) at BUET.
